SO- I came across this REALLY cool article about food for your face. Foods that help fight damage and wrinkles, repair skin cells and soothe red irritated blotchy skin. Awesome, right?  Who doesn’t want to naturally help their skin GLOW!? Did I mention ALL FIVE foods I’m about to list are SUPER YUMMY!?  Num Num Num!

1: Avocados

Who knew that this AWESOME fruit has all these oils and vitamins that feed your skin! Vitamin B3 aka Niacin  is an anti-inflammatory so it helps with irritated and blotchy skin.

 #2: Mangoes

Mangoes are SO awesome because aside from the fact that they taste AMAZING,  in smoothies, on salads, by itself, Its got a TON of Vitamin A. Vitamin A maintains and fixes skin cells. Without Vitamin A your skin can get all dry and flaky and icky and gross. YUCK. Did i mention Mangoes AAAALSO,  has about 70 calories per serving so its an awesome fruit to help keep your girlish figure too. 😉

Face Food #3: Almonds

With tons of Vitamin E, Almonds moisturize your skin, and protect you from damage and early aging. How great is that?!

Face Food #4: Cottage Cheese

Dairy is great for your bones and face. There’s something in Cottage Cheese called  selenium, NOT Calcium… Selenium is an important mineral that pairs up with Vitamin E to become this awesome antioxidant team, protecting you from skin cancer. It alllllso helps take care of dandruff AND its one of those

One of my uncles used to have an acerola tree in the back yard. SOOOOO GOOODDD………One of these cherries supplies 100% of your daily allowance for vitamin C, which is AWESOME for your skin. Its an antioxidant SO the  vitamin C fights damage and wrinkles!
